Whale watching, wildlife viewing, fishing, crabbing, exploring, hiking and peaceful tranquility are some of the many experiences yacht Midnight Sun has to offer.

Alaska Fishing and Weather Equipment Provided

Leisure fishing aboard the Midnight Sun provides copious quantities of silver salmon, king salmon, halibut, rock fish, delicious Dungeness crab or huge prawns. Fresh from line to barbeque, or prepared to your taste.  It's out of this world!  Fishing licenses, professional fishing gear, bait and lures along with crabbing equipment are included. Rain gear and boots are supplied and fitted to each charter guest.

Get out and see Alaska up-close

The Midnight Sun has stable dinghies for guest use with or without a crew operator.  We have a 14-foot Battelli RIB with 30 HP electric start, center console steering and depth sounder for fishing. We also have a 12-foot Achilles inflatable with 15HP outboard.

Dock and dingy access is especially easy with a recessed staircase built into the stern and a large stern platform which is about 9 inches above the water.  Dinghies for wildlife viewing, fishing, and exploring and can be lowered and readied in minutes.

 Experience Alaska glaciers

It's hard to imagine the dynamics of truly experiencing a calving glacier! The Midnight sun can take you there in complete comfort.

 Experience Alaska whales

At times we will be completely surrounded by a group of Orcas (Killer Whales) who seem to completely ignore us as they aggressively feed on a school of salmon.

 Experience Alaska bears

Grizzly Bears are one of the highlights of our Alaska yacht charter. They can often be found fishing at the bottom of the waterfall where we can cautiously observe their fishing skills first hand while the captain keeps the engine running!

Catch a flight to see even more

You can even take a flight-seeing trip from a float plane that arrives and departs from the stern of the yacht! With the Midnight Sun, every cruise is customized to the clients interests by your Captain.
